Rococo Coffee House

Rococo Coffee House is a characterful cafe with flock sofas, armchairs, gold print wallpaper and chandeliers that serves up paninis, cake and coffee. The independent coffee house is situated in Liverpool City centre, adjacent to Liverpool ONE. It occupies a historic building on Lord Street and has a long history, including once being head office for Radio Caroline pirate station in the 1960s. As a fully independent coffee house, Rococo offers a refreshing change from the identikit corporate brands that permeate every major high street. From ethics to interior design, Rococo offers something different. Savour quality own brand coffee, a tasty choice of 10 different freshly made paninis and delicious homemade cakes. Whether you prefer relaxing in one of the huge flock sofas, warming up by the homely open fire in winter, or sitting for hours overlooking Liverpool’s busiest street watching the world go by, Rococo is the place to be.

On the first floor this coffee house was obviously once a home with linking spacious rooms now stripped back to brick walls with comfy sofas. A very relaxing setting to have breakfast. Doorstep sourdough toast and good coffee. A unusual find and worth a visit.
